Sweden: Country Number Seven on Our Adventure
Country number seven on our 52 countries in 52 weeks global adventure was Sweden. We stayed in Stockholm just outside the city and found a spectacular Airbnb with a pool. The weather was beautiful, and it was so nice that we barely wanted to leave the house, but eventually we ventured out to explore the city itself.
Our Airbnb Experience
The Airbnb we stayed in was truly exceptional. It had a beautiful pool, modern amenities, and plenty of space to relax after long days of sightseeing. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to the city, allowing us to enjoy both the tranquility of our surroundings and easy access to Stockholm’s attractions. We spent several hours just enjoying the house, the pool, and the serene neighborhood, making it a perfect home base for our Swedish adventure.

Stockholm Sights and History
Stockholm is absolutely adorable. We visited the Royal Palace and explored the Vasa Museum, home to the actual ship that sank on its maiden voyage, effectively Sweden’s Titanic. Seeing such a massive and historic vessel up close was unforgettable.

Fun and Food
The food in Sweden was incredible, and the famous meatballs definitely lived up to their reputation. We had a blast at the Paradox Museum, which offered all kinds of wild and creative photo opportunities. We also played mini golf, swam at the lake, and spent plenty of time wandering through Stockholm’s charming Old Town.
Reflections on Sweden
Our time in Sweden was filled with history, fun, and amazing food. We absolutely loved the vibe and the balance between city life and relaxing by our beautiful Airbnb. With Sweden behind us, we are now off to Finland for the next leg of our journey.
